The use of new VA3 Loader 1.39 allows you to save FW to Data memory. The new item Firmware in main menu allows you to load the FW from Data memory to Software (operational) memory without connection to a PC.

This is the a new function in VA3. For Amplitude & phase measurement and for balancing measurements the amplitude unit AMPL-UNIT and amplitude unit for viewing VIEW-UNIT can be different. Requested integration or derivation of amplitudes is performed numerically.

Now ENTER key is handled correctly for all setting and measuring screens and menus.
When the speed value is measured in the route, it is now also possible to look at the value in the VA3 (in dynamic measurement graph). In the past it was possible only in PC after route downloading to DDS.
During viewing of dynamic measurements in the route it was possible only finish it by ESC. This key mistakenly finished this process and returned to the list of measurement points. Now the ENTER key finishes only actual graph view and user can continue on the next graph.
All frequency sets were done only in Hz ( band freq., spectra axes, cursor positions,...) in previous versions. Now the definition is also possible in CPM. The unit is set by Main menu -> Instrument setup-> Meas. parameters -> Frequency.

The new item Main menu -> Analyser -> Dynamic measurements -> Setup key -> TRIGGER = SIGNAL is enabled. The measurement can be triggered by signal amplitude, when set level is exceeded. The parameters are set by Main menu -> Analyser -> Trigger inputs.
This item is removed from Analyser menu. The setup screen is possible to display only by pressing the Setup key in the Dynamic measurement screen. On this screen is the information "Push Setup for setting" displayed on the bottom.
Very low values ( less then 0.001) were figured as "low" in the previous versions. Now the exponential form ±x.xE±ee is used.

It is possible to define 3 time intervals. If the user does not press any button within that time interval, the VA3 will gradually be switched-off:
1. display backlight
2. ICP sensor power
3. whole instrument.

Cross Analyser - the newest FW module for dual-channel measurements. It offers:
2xTIME – a time wave measurement
- REAL – viewing of time waves
- ORBIT – viewing of the orbit
2xSPEC – an amplitude spectrum measurement
- LIN-MAG – viewing of the spectrum amplitudes in the linear scale
FRESP – a frequency response (transfer function) measurement
- LIN/LOG-MAG – viewing of the magnitudes ratio in the linear/logarithmic scale
- PHASE – viewing of the phase differences
- COH – viewing of the coherence.
Implementation of windows for the frequency response measurement: RECTANGULAR, TRANSIENT, HANNING, EXPONENTIAL.
Support for Delay parameter. It determines the trigger measurement start.
Delay > 0 the measurement starts after the trigger mark occurrence (posttrigger)
Delay < 0 the measurement starts before the trigger mark occurrence (pretrigger).

Lists of routes, machines, points of measurements and measurements
are always numbered and left arranged. If the START key is pushed
on any point of measurements item within a route, the "measured"
mark is added before the list item.
There is possible to measure or to enter the speed value
for dynamic measurements with machine speed.
Via the Copy button there is possible to create a copy of the selected
machine within a route. Measured data can be stored to a DDS database
as an offroute data.

CAUTION! The FATSYS block version has been chnged. After upgrade
procedure the data memory initialization (format) request appears.
Store all route and off-route data to your database before the upgrade
procedure - see User Manual, Memory Management Menu chapter.
Within a route measurement there is enable to set a measured data
preview. If a static data reference is downloaded the STAT LED signals
a relation between the measured value and the ref. value according
to the set Alert and Danger limits.
Within a route averaged dynamic measurement each of the intermediate
result appears on the instrument display.
Lists of machines, measurement points and measurements are labelled
on its bottom line to make better orientation within a route walk.

Now each balancing measurement can be run as an on-line cycle which
has to be broken from the instrument keypad by any button. The last
measurement result will be stored as the result of the current step
of the balancing process. When waiting for a stable phase or machine
speed this feature is very suitable.
Press Info button in the list of machines or measurement points to
display a note appended to the selected item of the list. Press
Shift+Info buttons to input a new note from the instrument keypad.
Via the Copy button there is possible to create a copy of the selected
route within the route list. The copy is the same as the original
inclusive of measured data and notes.

ver. 03.15.
Compressed time (CMP-TIME) record - the new dynamic measurement type is
implemented. A result of this measurement is a long record of the time
signal [max;min] pairs within each of measurement sampling period.

ver. 03.16.
The new "FFT-MODE = NORMAL / TURBO" switch is added in the "Instrument
setup-Meas. parameters" menu. Set TURBO mode to significantly reduce
the spectrum evaluation time; to reduce the time for displaying
of intermediate results of dynamic measurements; to accelerate
the autorange of all measurements.
